1952 Dodge B-3-D-126 1 ton truck. Has the original 6 cylinder engine. and manual transmission. The engine turns over by hand. We were told by the previous owner that this was in use on the farm about 5 years ago. We have not tried getting it started. Body is in very good condition. Very small spot of rust here and there. Floor in very good shape. Cab corners good. This is a very complete truck that could be a great project. We are going to apply for the title. It takes about a month to get back from the state. Payments: Payments can be made at any time. We accept cash, personal checks, PayPal and credit cards. A 4% fee will apply to all PayPal and credit card transactions. Vehicle will not be released until full payment has been made.
Deposits: A $500 deposit will hold a vehicle. Remaining balance must be paid within 30 days after deposit is made. If balance is not paid within 30 days, deposit will be lost and we will resell the vehicle.
Titles: We can apply for and receive a title on most of our vehicles (vehicles without titles) for an additional $250. This fee covers the application, (sometimes) bonding and my time and effort. Vehicles that are eligible to be titled must have all exterior major body panels. Meaning the vehicle can’t be missing fenders, hood, doors etc.. The vehicle must also display a clear and easy to read VIN tag. Titles take about a month to come back from the state clean and 100% transferrable.
Vehicle Storage: Vehicles are allowed to be stored here for 3 months after final payment is made unless prior arrangements are made. After 3 months they will be considered abandoned and will be the property of Backyard Classics. Therefore, all money paid will be lost due to storage.
Transport: Backyard Classics does not transport vehicles for customers. We will assist in locating transport for the customer. We use Montway Auto Transport for quotes. Do your homework (if possible) and shop for rates.
