Black Dodge Charger 440 R/T!
With Dodge's recent news of an electric Charger and stopping the
production of all gas powered Chargers; Now is your time to own the
original Gas Powered Charger. This is the real deal. The legendary
1969 Dodge Charger 440 R/T. Noted by the first digits of the vin,
XS29L. X- notating charger, S- notates R/T, and L for the 440ci Big
Block. This Triple Black Charger is well equipped with a 440 cubic
in Mopar Big Block engine mated to a 727 torqueflite automatic
transmission. Born and built in the motor capital of the world,
this charger lived its life on the west coast. With straight body
lines, a solid and stout underbody, and even a factory styled well
redone interior, this Charger is one not to be missed.
The exterior is pictured in a high-gloss deep black paint with a
black vinyl top and a red R/T stripe. The front end has the iconic
working flip-up headlights and even working turn signals inside the
factory scalloped hood. Along the side, the body lines are straight
, and lead directly into the 15" staggered Magnum 500 wheels that
have a 235MM front tire and wider 295MM rear white letter tire,
gripping the road ahead. The wheels are a gloss black with a Chrome
face that reflects all of the chrome placed around this Charger.
Behind those wheels are the newly installed brake components that
stop this Charger as quickly as it accelerates. The overall stance
and body lines of this 69' Charger have been idolized in numerous
Movies and TV shows, including the world famous Fast and Furious,
and The Dukes of Hazzard. Now is your chance to own a part of
American Muscle History.
Under the hood of this well dressed Charger is the Mopar 440ci Big
Block Engine mated to a 727 Torqueflite Automatic Transmission. The
engine bay is very clean and color matched with a gloss black
finish. It even still has the factory Trim tag. This Charger has a
few upgrades, including an oversized aluminum radiator, (with the
radiator support being factory metal with a vin stamping) sitting
below the rebuilt carburetor is an Edelbrock aluminum intake
manifold, and a billet high amp distributor, all working together
to make sure this 440 performs at its peak. This charger also has
power brakes and an upgraded high pressure steering pump has also
been installed to give the end user a quick and quiet turning
experience. This is one charger that deserves to have its hood
popped at any auto event!
