Vehicle Description
Ford's new Model A, introduced on 2 Dec 1927, was an engineering
upgrade to the model T, but also added a measure of style with
themes taken from the Lincoln. Along with the usual coupe and sedan
bodies, there were some deluxe ones too, like town cars and leather
backed sedans. Another of these rare models was the Model 50-A
Sport Coupe with rigid canvas covered top, landau irons, and rumble
seat. The result was a car with an air of fancy and glamour while
retaining the full weather protection of a fixed coupe. This 1931
Model A was given a complete restoration about 10 years ago with
only 6,366 miles driven since. It is ready for club touring or fun
daily driving. A true collectors favorite. Must be seen!
4 cyl, 201ci engine and 3 sp manual transmission.
