Vehicle Description
This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is a factory Hugger Orange car, and the
impressive color combo is upgraded with everything from a hidden
headlight Rally Sport style to the racing stripes. It makes for one
of the best ways to represent an icon in a true cruiser-ready
style.
The trim tag reveals a lot about this Camaro. It tells this was
born a Hugger Orange car. We love this color for being such an icon
of the speedy Camaros. That's also why we love to see that they
upgraded this one with black Z/28 stripes painted on top. It's part
of an attractive dark side that was also upgraded with the blackout
grille and hidden headlights (currently manually operated) of the
Rally Sport package. And the trim tag also tells us the black vinyl
roof is a factory-correct piece. It's a total package that's
eye-catching, right down to the details. You have stock-style items
like bright Rally wheels and D80 rear spoiler. And there are also
subtle upgrades, like the extended dual exhaust tip and
color-matched front bumper. It's all part of a cruiser-ready
package. That's the overall theme of the car...it's distinctive and
a driver.
All the black accents on the outside get you ready for a full black
interior. Everything looks quite vintage, but the full presentation
reveals that this one is also quite clean and complete. The seats,
door panels, headliner, and carpeting all look attractive. And
there are some nice vintage extras, like the classic headrests, a
center console, an RS steering wheel, and plenty of wood-like trim.
But because this also likes to be a true cruiser you have a
Blaupunkt AM/FM/CD stereo and upgraded speakers.
The engine bay has quite an authentic look, and in fact, the 307
cubic-inch V8 is a year-correct powerhouse. It is even correctly
mated to a Powerglide automatic transmission. And this has also
seen good maintenance everywhere, including newer items like the
radiator and dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. So we bet your
mind is racing with all the upgrades this hardy small block can
take or even adding a big block to this Hugger Orange coupe. But we
already like it as it is. It's a strong runner that has a true
classic cruiser feeling. And driving is still easy with features
like power steering and wide BF Goodrich T/As.
This Camaro is coming off nearly 20 years of ownership. And it
deserves someone new who understands the value of desirable style
and an easy to drive classic. If that's you, call today!
