This 1996 Chevrolet Z28 SS Camaro is powered by a 5.7-Liter LT1 V8.
Mated to a six-speed manual transmission with engine oil & trans
cooler. The 5.7-Liter LT1 V8 was fitted with a high-flow air intake
and an optional performance exhaust system by SLP engineering. The
Z28 is finished in white with black trim including black dual sport
side mirrors, and solar ray tinted glass. This Z28 SS features a
lightweight hood with a functional scoop, a performance air intake,
rear decklid spoiler, Hurst Shifter, cruise control, factory CD
stereo, power door locks, power windows, electric twin remote
mirrors, safety / security with pass-key theft deterrent alarm, and
keyless entry. If that's not enough YES air conditioning to keep
you cool.
The cabin features seating done in light tan leather with matching
door panels and carpets plus Z28 SS-branded floor mats. Folding
rear seat and closeout rear panel to give added cargo area. The
plaque affixed to the center console indicates this is the 1,135th
example for the model year to be fitted with the SS package by SLP
Engineering of Toms River, New Jersey. To set off the tan seats is
a stunning black dash with leather-wrapped steering wheel. Full
analog gage cluster that includes the 150-mph speedometer,
tachometer, and auxiliary gauges are all in excellent condition.
The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 56,000 original miles.
The excellent ride performance is thanks to the SS package that
includes a larger front sway bar and a rear track bar, Torsen
Torque Sensing rear, dicarbon monotube shocks, 4-wheel anti lock
brake system, and power rack & pinion steering. Safety is always
important driver's and passenger air bags. Final touch are the
Chevrolet's aluminum 16 x 8 SS wheels and P235/55R-16 tires.
Included 1996 Z28 SS owner's manual, owner's manual supplement,
original Chevrolet deliver inspection sheet, GM pre-delivery
inspection, original Z28 DD warranty and owners assistance
information booklet. Plus, window sticker, and Z28 SS alteration
package slip. These enhancements brought the final retail SLP
