Truly Breathtaking 1955 Ford Crown Victoria Skyliner
New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1955 Ford
Crown Victoria Skyliner 2 Door Coupe named "Ramblin' Rose" with
stunning Tropical Rose and Snowshoe White exterior paint,
tremendous chrome trim, and a beautiful two-toned vinyl interior.
This stand-out survivor features a factory 272 cid V-8 engine under
the hood that's paired to a two-speed automatic transmission, power
front disc brakes, power steering, updated A/C, Kelsey Hayes wheels
with wide whitewall tires, and too much more to fully list.
This 1955 Ford Crown Victoria Skyliner shows a mere 55,144 miles on
the odometer which is quite possibly original, however, the engine
has clocked minimal mileage since being completely overhauled
during the previous restoration by the original owner. This
remarkable '55 'Crown-Vic' might be the most pristine and highly
optioned example left in the world today.
One of 1,999 Ever Produced & 1 of only 146 that were Fully
Optioned
This 1955 Ford Crown Victoria Skyliner has a great life story since
it remained with the original owner all the way up until 2014, when
he sold it to a lifelong friend and fellow car fanatic. Since new,
this example was always treated as so much more than just a nice
classic and it has been maintained at the highest possible levels
for 68 years. Produced in San Jose, California, this was one of
only 146 examples ever produced that were fully optioned, and one
of a handful known to still be in existence. Words alone cannot
explain how rare or special Ramblin' Rose is; a spectacular vehicle
that should appreciated and coveted by a loving owner for many more
years to come.
In terms of condition, this 1955 Ford Crown Victoria Skyliner has
outstanding, like new body lines with excellent alignment and
beautiful paint, which was resprayed a number of years ago. The
chrome is also exceptional with only the slightest of
imperfections. The engine compartment is equally as impressive and
this classic still drives like a new vehicle due to decades and
decades of proper maintenance and a comprehensive restoration and
freshening approximately 25 years ago.
Enjoyed by 1st Owner Until 2014
Overall, this 1955 Ford Crown Victoria Skyliner 2 Door Coupe is the
most impressive survivor that we've probably ever seen and we
believe the asking price to be conservative for such a unique,
show-stopping example. While the overcall condition is not quite
museum quality, this is easily one of the best investments you'll
come across this year. For more information about this vehicle,
