Vehicle Description
1972 MG MGB Mk III - 1800cc 4 Cylinder - 4 Speed Manual With OD -
52k Miles Shown - British Racing Green Exterior With Matching
Wheels - Black Interior Manufactured and marketed by the British
Motor Corporation (BMC) from 1962 until 1980, the MGB is a two-door
sports car that replaced the previous MGA vehicle. The MGB was one
of the first cars to feature controlled crumple zones designed to
protect the driver and passenger in the event of a crash. It also
experienced its biggest market in America where buyers appreciated
its reliability and relative comfort for its size. The 1972 MGB was
the last year to have the recessed grill and was updated to have a
center console with armrest. Sales hit 39,393 for the 1972 model
year, the best year ever for the MGB. Available options included
wire wheels, overdrive, AM radio, AM/FM radio, woodrim steering
wheel and gearshift, electric clock, and air-conditioning (which
was could be dealer installed). Offered here is an original MGB
bearing British Racing Green paint and matching wheels. With just
over 52k miles on the odometer, this roadster is a classic British
sports car. The exterior paint shows well and contrasts nicely with
the chrome bumpers and grille. The convertible top, when put up, is
in very nice condition. This MGB is powered by an 1800cc 4-cylinder
engine with 4-speed manual with overdrive. The engine compartment
is organized well and in nice condition. For the driver and any
passengers, the cabin has been well cared for. The bucket seats are
visibly lush and have few signs of significant wear. The dark
carpeting on the other hand does have some ruffling and slight
edging issues within the driver's foot well. The padded black dash
has aged expertly and is offset by the chrome gauge bezels. Some
may say that little British sports cars like this MGB can be quite
picky when it comes to drivability, but every British car owner I
have met has absolutely loved their car. If you are looking for a
classic British two-seat roadster, consider the MG B roadster
presented here. Please call if interested or e-mail with any
