We offer this stunning 1934 Ford Victoria (Vicky) with complete history including it`s previous ownership by the Peterson Museum and its director, a vintage and classic authority.
Ford Motor Co. introduced the Vicky style in 1931. The new design featured a stylish, close-coupled two-door body that could seat five. A rounded ‘bustle’ back provided a storage area accessed from inside. Offered as a relatively high-priced Deluxe model only, the Victoria was and always would be one of the more exclusive and rarely seen Fords on the road. Ford continued to offer a bustle-back Victoria in the new Ford V-8 line for 1932 through 1934.
This 1934 Ford Vicky finished in the late 70s and early 80s is full-fendered. It is 100% steel and is painted a 1985 Porsche deep blue color. It features a welded and smoothed trunk, recessed license plate and smoothed hood sides. Large, original-style headlamps and a period-authentic Ford greyhound hood ornament add to its nostalgic rod appeal and stamps it as an early build. All of the car`s history, build documents and pictures are included in this offering.
Modern comforts inside, include air-conditioning, cruise control, six-way power seats, tilt steering, power windows, and an AM/FM cassette stereo system with four speakers. VDO gauges occupy the instrument cluster, while the seats are trimmed in tweed. Everything works as designed
A Chevy 350 V8 engine with aluminum heads and TPI fuel injection, coupled to a GM Turbo 350 automatic transmission, powers the blue Ford Vicky. The engine’s shorty headers and exhaust system are stainless and the alternator is polished. The chassis features a 4-wheel independent suspension with plated/polished components and the rear end has a billet center section and dual coil-overs. A four-wheel disk brake system assures adequate stopping power. The car has Firestone 235 70R 15s on the rear and 205 70R 15`s oon the front. WheelSmith steelies with Caps and Beauty rings finish the look. The underside of this Vicky is as nice as the topside.
There are only 5700 miles on the build. It drives and rides like a new car. It does not leak a drop. The body, chassis and interior are near perfect. Check the pictures. I think you`ll agree this is one of the finest Vicky`s ever built. And the good news, it has survived over 40 years since being built and remains near perfect.
