Vehicle Description
2001 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
Why This Car Is Special
The 2001 Corvette Navy Blue Convertible like we have here at Skyway
Classics, is a two-seater that more enthusiasts choose than any
other sports car in America. This American icon is world-class, and
the 2001 edition reached a new level of excellence.
The already legendary LS1 V8 engine was enhanced to provide even
more horsepower, rated at 350 horsepower, and low-end torque over a
broader range for outstanding acceleration and at the same time,
fuel economy was improved from the past models.
Ours is a super nice one-owner Corvette that has been adult owned
and cared for since it was bought new with only a tad over 50k
miles on it.

Mechanical
The revised LS1 V8- already was regarded as one of the world's
finest performance engines in 2001 and that's what ours has backed
by the six-speed manual transmission.
The exhilarating power of the LS1 V8 is complemented by Corvette's
fuel injection system, ram air induction system, sophisticated
four-wheel independent suspension, dual exhaust system,
variable-effort Magnasteer, massive four-wheel brakes with ABS and
second-generation Active Handling.
Ours looks factory stock and sits in a very clean and stock factory
looking engine compartment also. It rides on chrome factory
Corvette wheels and black sidewall radial performance radial
tires.
Interior
The Black interior accents the Navy blue exterior paint color
wonderfully and is in great shape. Leather bucket seats welcome you
to the cockpit and power options like windows, door locks, seats,
mirrors, trunk release keep you comfortable with all other Corvette
features like air conditioning, power steering and brakes, and a
Bose sound system with steering wheel controls as well as a 12-disc
CD changer in the trunk can all be enjoyed in this Corvette.
Again, everything looks factory stock including the black carpet
and floor mats, seatbelts, matching door panels and the
sophisticated Corvette dash with the plethora of factory gauges and
system settings that give you all the engine settings and
functions.
Exterior
The paint color is what really draws everyone to this car as it is
one of the most beautiful colors ever made, in my opinion. Navy
Blue is certainly like a magnet for your eyes flowing over this C5
Corvette's sleek lines and body panels.
Topping it off are chrome wheels that really pop against the dark
blue paint. These Corvette are long and lean and look fast even
when sitting still and the black convertible top looks great in
either up or down position to give you the air-in-your hair
enjoyment.
Conclusion
Don't miss your chance to own a beautiful 2001 Navy Blue Corvette
Convertible with the black interior and top and shiny chrome wheels
we have here at Skyway Classics.
