For Sale: 1956 Ford Fairlane in Ft Worth, Texas

Vehicle Description

We really like what this 1956 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan represents. These are very cool cruisers, and this one has the right driver-ready style. That means all the right details from a continental kit to cold-blowing A/C. So you just know this one is ready for the boulevard.

The trim tag tells us this is a factory Raven Black car. It benefited from a later respray to make sure it has a nice formal look. But remember, the heart of this car is all about being a cruiser, and so nothing in this presentation is overly done to make you nervous about driving it on a whim. And that's the core fun of this classic. It has an iconic style that deserves to be shared with the world. You've got all the best pieces in place, like bright wraparound chrome bumpers, classic Ford family crest hub caps, full-length side trim with a dip at the doors, rear fender skirts, and the exhaust routed through the rear bumper. And while the factory got the style right, this one even turns it up a notch further with a cool cruiser attitude with details like faux lake pipes, lowered stance, half-chrome headlights, and continental rear for distinction.

The interior keeps the dark attitude going. The dash is clean, the headliner is good, and the seats are complete. Overall, it strikes the right balance of being fresher than the 1950s, but broken-in enough to make you want to go for a ride. Plus, part of that true cruiser attitude is seen in the well-integrated upgrades. They include comfort features like cold-blowing R134a air conditioning and a cup holder console. And the Sunpro auxiliary gauges for oil pressure and water temp, as well as a column-mounted Sunpro tach means there's something special under the hood.

Ford's 292 cubic-inch V8. It has an attractive classic look with the bold red block and Thunderbird script valve covers. But you also know this is not a full stock setup with nice detail upgrades, including the electric fan. The V8 inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor, and the glasspack-style dual exhaust is the right upgrade for a nice cruising tone. This full package fires up with an eagerness that wants to hit the road. And while this one drives like a true classic, the automatic transmission keeps it an easy cruiser.

Complete with service manuals, this is a distinctively dark driver's classic that knows how to give you the authentic 1950s custom cruiser experience. Call today!!!
