Vehicle Description
1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible. From the Bill Miller
Collection. This previous one owner car came from York,
Pennsylvania. During the race riots in 1960 the owner was driving
through downtown York and was accosted by rioters who chased him
with a large knife and swiped it at him. As he drove away the
rioter scraped the top of the rear fender and this was the deciding
factor to put the car away. So this cherished car was stored until
the owner's serious illness and I had a chance to purchase it. It
is so original that many 1956 Chevrolet owners have looked it over
so they could see how to perfectly restore their cars. This car has
many factory options that make it very unique. The original factory
convertible top still is in place. Love original cars like I do
then this car will be the highlight of your collection. Every car
has a story and this one is very special !
