Vehicle Description
1969 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe - Family Owned Since Early 90's -
Factory Cortez Silver - Removable T Tops - Rebuilt 350 V8 -
Upgraded Suspension and Distributor - Aftermarket Wheels - Runs and
Drives Exceptionally Well The C3 Corvette is a sports car that was
produced from 1967 until 1982 by Chevrolet for the 1968 to 1982
model years. The body and interior were new designs, but the
engines and chassis components were mostly carried over from the
previous generation of Corvettes. Available in either coupe or
convertible models, the 1968 coupe was now considered a notchback
as it was fitted with a near-vertical removable rear window and
removable roof panels, or as most of us call them, T-tops. Exterior
door handles were redesigned so the finger plate would actuate the
door, eliminating the separate release button as well as other
updates including the tail lamps, headlight washers and the front
grille was now made all black. Side-mounted exhausts and front
fender vent trim were the only options for this year only. Shown
here is a brilliantly kept, family owned since the 1990s, Cortez
Silver Corvette. With only just over 97k original miles, this
Corvette runs and drives exceptionally well. The silver paint and
subtle chrome are set off beautifully by aftermarket wheels with
the original wheels available for the new owner. There are not
visible signs of wear anywhere on the exterior and make this
Corvette quite the showstopper. Badged as a Stingray, this Corvette
is powered by a rebuilt 350ci V8 with automatic transmission which
has had upgraded suspension and distributor. With all updates being
documented and included with the purchase, this vehicle is ready to
hit the road. The chassis and undercarriage appear original and
only show minimal surface weathering from normal age. Everything is
noted to be in working order. The black leather interior is
original and has aged well with only the slightest wear on the
driver's seat. Included in the sale of this vehicle are Corvette
embroidered interior floor mats and hard covers for the T-tops.
Although there might not be many frills inside, this Corvette
wasn't made to be a luxury vehicle but one to enjoy the nuances of
the road. Whether you are an avid Corvette fan or just a classic
car enthusiast, this vehicle is a true beauty. With a lot of
drivability left on the odometer, this vehicle would make the
perfect collector or addition to an existing corral. Please call if
interested or e-mail with specific questions. Thanks for looking.
