This 1989 Dodge Dakota Sport Convertible features Bright White
exterior with Burgundy interior. When it first hit dealerships as a
1989 model, you could order the Dakota Sport convertible in either
black, white, or red. The Sport designation gives you a standard
3.9-liter V-6 good for 125 horsepower, mated to a four-speed
automatic. The Dakota let drivers choose from a 6-foot bed and an
8-foot bed, this one sporting the 6-foot bed. Built in partnership
with American Sunroof Corporation (ASC), the topless Dakota was a
true oddball from Detroit's favorite mod shop.
This truck has been fully serviced with all new fluids, hoses,
belts, spark plugs & wires, air cleaner, alternator, water pump,
fuel pump & filter, valve cover gaskets, rack n pinion steering
unit, and, last but not least, 4 new tires. Cosmetically, the white
paint has been buffed and waxed and the black front & rear bumpers,
front grill, fender trim, and fender wheel-wells freshly
painted.
