Vehicle Description
Yes, you read that right. On the lot now is an authentic 1971 Ford
Mustang Boss 351. Repainted in the factory "Grabber Yellow", this
mean Ford is definitely the boss of the street. 1971 was the very
first year of the Mustang's major restyling, making the Mustang
longer, lower and wider. The new 1971 Boss 351 represents one of
Ford's last true muscle cars, and this Mustang is one of the few
remaining examples. Just 1,806 were built in 1971, their lone year
of production. The Boss 351's main highlight was its R-code 351
C.I. "Cleveland" V-8, which would, and can, outrun a number of
big-blocks. The 351 was bolted up to a Hurst-shifted four-speed
manual transmission with a "Traction-Lok" 9-inch rear-end equipped
with 3.91:1 gears. All came with a "Competition" suspension package
and power front disc brakes. Externally, they were marked by their
functional "NASA" hood ducts, honeycomb grille, bodyside stripes
and 351 decals. The Boss in question has a beautiful "Black Knit"
vinyl interior with bucket seats and wood-grain trim. The interior
is extremely comfortable for a muscle car, making this Boss feel
like driving a rocket in a recliner. Options on this Boss include
functional hood scoops, a factory AM/FM radio, factory gauges with
a working clock, a tilt steering wheel, power steering, power
brakes, front disc brakes, power windows, adjustable mirrors and
seats, and a dual exhaust system. The Mustang rides on a great set
of Magnum 500 wheels with wide oval tires. This an extremely well
taken care of car that runs, drives, and sounds incredible. With
this Boss, you'll be able to rule the streets. This mean Ford is
ready to jump in and go at a moment's notice!
