1949 Ford F1 known as "Coppertone" finished in 1956 Chevrolet
Bronze and House of Kolors Root Beer paint. Paint has a great shine
throughout but there are some areas where there is visible
corrosion. This car was originally out of South Dakota before
coming to us. This truck underwent a restoration back in the
1990's, while it was painted and scalloped in 2004. Powered by the
239 Flathead V8 that has been bored 0.30 over and equipped with an
RV Cam, Holley 390 carb, Mallory UniLite ignition, and a Walker
radiator. That V8 is paired to a T5 5-speed manual transmission
with a GPS speedometer. Dual chrome spotlights on the front, a
classic look for an eye-catching truck. Riding on Diamondback wide
white walls with chrome wheels, tires are fairly new as well. White
vinyl tonneau cover has been added to match the running board
covers. Coppertone logo and name painted on to the rear tailgate.
White and Copper theme carries through to the interior with custom
white vinyl seats with copper piping and matching door cards,
visors, and headliner! Interior features pinstriping on the dash as
well as more Coppertone branding on the glovebox. Fuel gauge,
tachometer, water temp, oil pressure, and volts all reading as they
should! Coppertone tee shirt, Coppertone beach towel, binder of
receipts, and an extra pair of Speedway Motor water pumps will all
be included with purchase. Couple things of note: the radio is
located under the driver's seat and the gloved box holds the
fan/heat controls. Nice sounding custom Ford F1!
