The Ford Motor Company had some big shoes to fill when it came time
to replace the Model T and seemed to successfully do so with the
introduction of the Model A in 1927. These vehicles are the base of
some of the coolest street rods on the road which really makes you
appreciate the stock cars they were born from. This original 1930
Ford Model A is the rarer Roadster body style with a rumble seat.
It is all original steel painted in a nice gloss Black with a Black
Roadster top. Being a rumble seat car it is fitted with its
original handles, fender steps, and rear steps that are mounted on
the split rear bumper. Up front it also has the stock bumper,
chrome headlights and chrome radiator shell. The glass is in good
condition and is the adjustable windshield like original. The spoke
wheels are painted Black with Firestone tires and it has a rear
spare in a hard Black shell.
Powering the car is its original inline 4 cylinder motor that runs
well. Everything under the louvered hood is very clean with the
engine all painted Green. Mechanically the car is very stock and it
has a 3 speed manual transmission.
The interior has been all reupholstered in Black and is in great
condition. The dash features its original gauge set up in its
polished bezel. It is all very nicely done. The rear rumble seat
was all redone as well and looks great.
This is a very nice Roadster that would make a great addition to
any collection. They certainly aren't making more of them so get
this vintage original while you can.
This very nice Model A could be yours for $35,000.00!
