What makes ours special is that it is a 2006 Dodge HEMI Charger SRT-8 is that the one we have here at Skyway Classics has had a complete performance update to make into what was a Hellcat before Dodge even made the Hellcat!

This SRT8 has been modified from top to bottom and was a labor of love built by the owner.

Under the hood is what makes the Charger such a great modern classic. To begin with it has the legendary 6.1-liter Hemi V8, but that is where the similarity ends.

It has soooo many performance parts added that makes it pump out over 750 horsepower we can't list them all but they include, a Procharger D1 Supercharger with Custom Billet Bracketry, Treadstone Custom Intercooler (oversized), Ford Fuel Injectors and Boost-a-Pump, Drop-In Forged Pistons from Modern Muscle, Custom Camshaft from HHP, Pinned Crank Pulley, Ported Heads, Oversized Valves, PSI Valve Springs (Manley Titanium Retainers), NAG 1 from Paramount Shift Kit Valve Body, Kooks Headers and High Flow Cats, Corsa Cat Back Stainless Exhaust (Jet Coated), Diablo Tuned by Johan, PLX Multi-Gauge, and Diablo Tuned by Johan.

To get the power to the ground it has the addition of a 2009 Dodge Challenger Driveshaft and Rear End, Hotchkis Sway Bars, KW Coil Overs, and rides on Intro ID Wheels 22x9 front and 22X10 rear, and Proxis Tires 255x35xZR22 (front) and 285x30xZR 22 (rear).

Plus, you get a fully independent suspension for terrific grip. Add in power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and ABS, and you absolutely understand the appeal of owning a modern V8 supercar.

Interior

Modern cars are great for offering modern features and you'll love sitting down in the grey leather bucket seats plus you have all the right luxury features, including dual zone automatic climate control, power sunroof, keyless entry/alarm, heated seats, power windows, power locks, dual front airbags, side airbags, cruise control, tilt/telescopic steering wheel, and the factory AM/FM/CD/cassette stereo.

So it has everything you want, and the massive rear seat room plus a DVD Entertainment Center with a remote located under the armrest for rear passengers to view, means you're not the only ones who's comfortable for the long haul.

Exterior

This was the first year that Dodge resurrected the Charger name for modern times, and they did a terrific job. Ours has a shiny grey paint scheme with the SRT-8 call-outs on the front fenders, and the deep slope in the front fenders gives this the narrow-eyed look of the Viper, as well as the kick-up incorporated in the rear door panels and the rear wing that instantly evoke memories of the Chargers of the '60s.
