Hailing straight from that great state of Texas, this truck lives the Everything's Bigger in Texas motto. As General Motors' response to the smaller, off-road-oriented but decidedly on-road multi-purpose vehicles from Jeep, International and Ford, the K5 Blazer was super-sized by being built on GM's half-ton pickup platform. The full-size K5 Blazer was produced starting in 1969 and ran until 1995. Noted here is everything that you would expect from a Texas truck with a few upgrades that would make any ride enjoyable. Sporting a black over gray color combination, this K5 is sharp. Black paint combined with a black half-top, removable rear top section, the overall exterior aesthetic is a sight to see. The exterior chrome has been polished well and shows a mirror-like finish that any car owner would be proud of. Finally, to round out the blackout look, this K5 is complete with aftermarket black wheels and tinted windows front to back. The undercarriage and drivetrain present as original and show normal aging for this vintage of truck. Overall, the frame and underbody panels are speckled with some surface weathering. This truck comes complete with a 454ci V8 that has undergone a complete engine overhaul in 2021 and 700R4 automatic transmission that was rebuilt in 2022. Some notable updates include headers, chrome alternator, performance torque converter and matching black air cleaner breather. Moving to the interior, this truck is outfitted with a combination plush cloth and vinyl seat package. For the driver and front passenger, you will find age-appropriate buckets and the rear, secondary row is complete with a full-size bench with armrests. Carpeting is found throughout but the truck does come with front floor well mats that match the black exterior.
