Vehicle Description
1967 CHEVELLE SS396
Fresh out of our restoration shop is this beautiful 1967 Chevelle
SS396. This is a real "138" Super sport Chevelle that was frame-off
restored a few years ago as a father/son project. They did a super
nice job on it mechanically, but the body and paintwork were, well
let's just say, amateur at best. This car is really nice and
deserved to be finished right and professionally repainted, so once
we purchased it, we didn't hesitate to take it apart, strip it
down, block it out and send it off to our paint shop to be
professionally painted in a controlled environment. CHECK IT OUT !
The body is super straight, solid and clean including the floors,
trunk and frame which had been stripped, painted and detailed to
look like new. The 2-stage base/clear "Marina Blue" paint, which is
the original color to this car, is now absolutely gorgeous. We just
cut and buffed it to a deep luster and show car shine. It also has
all new chrome, trim and weather stripping too. The black bucket
seat interior is also all new including the seats, carpets, door
panels and headliner. It has an original center console and a
"Covans" custom dash cluster with fully functional Autometer
gauges. It is very, very nice! Power comes from a strong running,
good sounding 454 c.i. big block engine that was professionally
rebuilt. It is backed up by a new Tremec TKO-600 5 speed manual
transmission and a 12 bolt posi-traction rear with 3:73 gears.
Other features include power steering, power disc brakes, rare
power windows, tilt wheel, "Hotchkis" front & rear suspension,
Dynamax dual exhaust, retro-sound stereo, new 18" U.S. MAG U110
Rambler wheels, and so much more. We got a stack of receipts to
back all this up too. This is a very nice, very well done real
Super Sport Chevelle that runs, rides and drives every bit as nice
as it looks. DON'T MISS IT !!
