1973 Camaro 350 - 50 Years! Looking for the right buyer that will love and take care of this car. I have owned for 35 years and will be sad to let go.
Drives great! Strong in every gear. No Rain , Oil, or Transmission leaks. Recently tuned and the mechanic said Camaro should be able to drive to California and back. I am the second owner since 1987. I love this car for its stock manual 4 speed. Fairly rare and lots of fun! Always get head turns and thumbs ups when taken on the road. Replaced engine in 2003 with new 350 and only has about 5k miles on it. Oil dip stick oil is still clear. Easy to work on with no fussy or crazy aftermarket performance add-ons. Has been a fair weather driver since I graduated college and has been garaged for 30 years. This is a Georgia car with no exterior rust. Never cleaned up underneath but very little rust, just surface "dust" rust on manifold and rear axle. Engine area pretty clean and easy to detail underneath the car if wanted. Updated interior with original nap navy carpet and new seat inserts and tan headliner. Chevrolet Mag wheels from era.
I wanted car to be a great running car for the buyer. I fully serviced Camaro in 8-9-22. The car also received high rankings with Lemon Squad, perfect scores for the engine performance, Here is what is new:
* Edelbrock AVS2 Carb, *shocks, *performance tires, *New radiator hoses *fuel pump/filter and fuel lines, *rebuilt rear, *alignment with new idler arm, * transmission seal replaced, *new rear seat and rear window surround plastic molding (50 year old plastic dry rotted). I have new rain guard trim for the windows but need installing. Brakes were checked too. Have documentation for all above and for last 30 years of service. Clear title.
Great deal at $28,500 AS IS (avg. for 1973 is $40K on auto trader and classic cars). Have Service Manual for parts in case you need to order parts from Year One or other provider. Lots of fun. Love this car.
