Really nice, very original, Deluxe Catalina Coupe.
With the previous owner for 29 years!
I believe that this car has never been apart and has had about a 75% repaint over 30 years ago before the previous owner acquired it.
Finished in Code L Braeburn Green Metallic with Code C Nassau Green spear.
347 V8 with an automatic transmission. The car shows only 39,XXX actual miles and is documented on a good clean PA title. All the chrome, glass, motor, undercarriage, trunk, and interior are all original. The interior even has the factory plastic on the seats.
The car was just completely serviced, after sitting for about five years, at a cost of about $2,000. New battery, new electric fuel pump, all new ignition parts, rebuilt generator, brakes serviced, all fluids flushed. All the gauges work, all lights, signals, and horn work. The only non-original item on the car is an aftermarket CD player neatly hidden in the glove box.
The car runs and drives excellent. It has power steering, which makes it a bit easier to use. Beautiful dash and steering wheel. I would describe the car as a very nice, high-quality driver. The chrome is starting to show areas of wear and minor pitting (it’s 65 years old). Both front fenders have a few blemishes on them, but overall, it is a beautiful car that gets tons of attention and runs 100%!
