Vehicle Description
"For the 1957 model year the Ford Thunderbird went through a bit of
a styling transition. The biggest area of change was the front
bumper, which was changed to look more open, something most people
seem to love. It definitely fits with the luxury cruiser nature of
the car. At the same time, the relocation of the spare tire to the
trunk added a sleekness to the rear. For these and other reasons,
the 1957 Thunderbirds are well sought-after today." - Motorious
This 1957 Ford Thunderbird stands out from the rest, at first
glance you might not notice the 390 emblems on the front fenders
but open the hood and there is no mistake this is not your typical
57 Thunderbird. This Flame Red Thunderbird with red interior and
white vinyl top is powered by a 390 cubic inch crate motor mated to
an automatic transmission.
Although older paint the Flame Red has a great shine with good
depth. The red interior shows very well with no area of excessive
wear or fading. The underside of this Thunderbird is very solid and
void of any heavy corrosion. The chrome shows nicely with a great
reflective shine.
The overall presentation of this 1957 Ford Thunderbird is very good
and shows great pride of ownership.
If you are in the market for a T-bird with a little something extra
under the hood this is the car for you.
