For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle in Arlington, Texas

Vehicle Description

1967 Chevrolet Chevelle - Pro Touring Custom

The Chevelle name was first introduced in 1964 and fit in perfectly with the arrival of the muscle car era. They had 3 generations with varying looks and proved to be a very popular nameplate for Chevrolet. Even cars in the same generation saw multiple changes each year with the "coke bottle" body design being put out in 1966. This 1967 Chevelle belongs to the 1st gen and has been beautifully modified to transform it into one of the cleanest examples on the road. In this business we have the opportunity to view and list a wide variety of vehicles from entry level projects to one of a kind works of art. Well this Chevelle definitely belongs in the latter category. A ton of dollars, time and hard work to turn the car into a pro touring style performance machine. This is a car that has no problem taking home awards and can also be driven anywhere. Everyone that had a hand in the build is an expert in their field and no corners were cut anywhere. The owner built it to keep so they spared no expense to turn it into what it is today. The paint and body work is absolutely beautiful and was completed by Donnie Bright who is known as one of the best in the industry. Not a single panel on this car was left untouched. It is painted in a very slick Candy Red paint that has a great shine out in the son. All of the chrome work is in excellent condition as well. The glass was all replaced during the build. The car has a great stance and tucked nicely under the fenders are very clean Budnik Spyder wheels with low profile Michelin Pilot tires. The fronts are 18in and rears 19in.

The exterior of the car has a great look but it doesn't end there because mechanically this car is on a whole different level. A lot of the mechanical components were built by Marc's Garage out of Fort Worth who has had a hand in many high end builds. It is now powered by a 495hp LS3 motor that runs extremely well. It has a painted to match custom engine cover and the entire engine compartment is painted to match as well. The car sits on a high end Art Morrison chassis which itself is going to run you $25K-$35K. The undercarriage is all very cleanly done so is very worthy of putting mirrors under it at shows. The 2.5 inch exhaust was all custom made and it sounds great through Magnaflow XL 3 chamber mufflers. The transmission is a 4L70E automatic with overdrive that shifts smoothly with no issues. It is a very nice driver with all power options throughout. With the power brakes it has Baer discs up front and big 11 inch drums in rear which were specifically chosen to allow the current wheels to fit. Other nice components include the coil over suspension and stainless steel fuel tank.

For the interior the car was shipped off the Paul Atkins out of Alabama who is known for show winning interiors. Prior to being done the cab was entirely coated with Lizard Skin sound deadener. The upholstery is a two tone Gray leather that is in extremely good condition. It is clear that this car has been well cared for since it was completed. A custom console was built for the car and flows between the front bucket seats to the rear. It provides additional storage space and houses the shifter and Alpine stereo. A dash insert was fabricated for the car and is topped with AC controls, custom vents and custom gauges. In front of the driver is a nice tilt column with a chrome leather wrapped steering wheel. The trunk of the car is all finished out nicely and in a similar leather design as the inside. It has a hidden compartment for the red top Optima battery and stereo equipment.

If you are looking for one of the nicest Chevelles in the world, this is one to check out. Our pictures absolutely do not do it justice. It has so many nice components incorporated into that there is features we obviously left out. However, you can rest assured that if it is on this car it is high quality.

Add it to your collection for $195,000.00!
