For Sale: 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle in Orrville, Ohio

This 1966 Chevelle SS has been in the South its whole life. It received a restoration in 2015. The body is straight from every angle. All body panels fit square and flush. The body has no signs of ever having any rust issues, bubbles or cracks. The Torch Red paint has been color sanded to a smooth high gloss finish. Door jambs are nice and glossy. All weather stripping has been replaced. The vent windows have new rubber seals. Up front the headlight bezels and grill are in excellent condition as well as the moldings and all the emblems. Front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed. The glass has factory tint and is in good condition. Rear tail light bezels and trim are polished to show quality. Bowtie mirrors are in good condition. It rides on a set of 15" BFG T/A radials 235/60/15 in front and 255/60/15 in the rear with a set of new American Racing Torque Thrust Mags for that aggressive look. The engine compartment is nicely detailed with its completely rebuilt date coded 396 cubic inch engine, casting # 3855961. It has a few performance upgrades: Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and 4 barrel carb, a set of Hooker headers, upgraded MSD 6al HEI ignition for reliability, factory chrome valve covers and the correct air cleaner. It also has an upgraded cadmium plated brake booster, upgraded new dual master cylinder and a 4-core factory style radiator with correct fan shroud. The bottom of the hood is painted in a glossy finish and has hood insulation. The engine bay has a nice satin black finish. The interior has been completely restored from the headliner to the carpet. It has bucket seats and a console. The seats have been reupholstered. The dash is gorgeous. The dash pad is like new. The trim around the dash sparkles against the glossy black dash. All the knobs are shiny. It has upgraded factory gauges and an aftermarket old school tach mounted on the steering column. The factory steering wheel is in excellent condition. It has new sill plates. The door panels and armrest bases are like new. It also has Deluxe front and rear seatbelts. The undercarriage is all clean metal. The floors have no sign of rust. Looking up at the engine, it is clean and painted in Chevy Orange. The 4-speed Muncie transmission is clean too. The front end looks good. It has new shocks, newer gas tank and straps, 2.5" FlowMaster dual exhaust and a 12-bolt 3:73 posi rear end. The floors look to be solid and original. The trunk is detailed nicely with a coat of black and aqua splatter paint, trunk mat, spare tire with jack assembly and new weather stripping. The underside of the trunk lid is painted and has a glossy finish that includes the jacking instructions decal. This 1966 Chevelle has a lot going for it-color And horsepower!
