For your consideration, a limited 2003 BMW E-39 540i M-Sport for sale.
As opposed to previous manufactured years of the E-39 with options for M-Sport packages, the 2003 540i M-Sport is an actual limited production model in North America. Only 1,190 of these cars were produced with a manual transmission. The number of M5’s imported that year was around 2,500.
This car began its life in Dingolfing, Germany in December of 2002. I am the third owner of this vehicle starting in March 2008. The car has been driven lightly (not a daily driver), garaged since 2008 and not driven in inclement weather with 78K original miles. The M-Sport model included the following unique features:
There have been no changes to the body, motor, exhaust or interior from the stock vehicle except for the following:
Standard features included, but are not limited to the following:
This vehicle is pre-owned, so it does have minor scratches and normal overall wear for a 19-year-old vehicle. All service records are available (2008-present), including the original Car Fax at the time of purchase. Tires have 10,000 miles of wear. New clutch has less than 5,000 miles.
This is an E39 enthusiast car—SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY. Test drives will be performed with me in the driver’s seat—no exceptions. Additional items included with the vehicle are as follows:
