1983 was the first year of the Ford Ranger model. This pickup has
many upgrades including a rebuilt carb, new tires and wheels, new
gas tank, new sending unit, new hoses, new driveshaft, new
mechanical pump and a new alternator. The truck still needs a
clutch and could use a general tune-up. Owner is willing to
complete those if a fair deal can be reached. As you can see from
the photos, the pickup is in good condition for a 40-year-old
pickup. Some minor surface rust on the bed and a tear on the
passenger side seat. However, this truck has just completed an
extremely thorough examination from a quality mechanic. Engine is
the original 2.8 L V6 with a 5-speed manual transmission. Fun truck
