The late '90s / early 2000s Trans Am's are the next big investment
car. Their rarity, styling and performance make them the hottest
cars of their era and prices are beginning to trend upwards. It's
wise to buy now while still affordable. This is an excellent
original example that was adult owned and cared for. Kept at a
vacation home and used as a toy car by the last 2 owners.
Completely serviced and ready to turn the key and go. This
particular example has just over 13,000 original miles.
EXTERIOR: This car features the WS6 option with the snorkel nose
Ram Air Induction. The color combination is extremely sharp. It's
finished in Arctic White paint. It is accented with glass roof T
Tops, camel leather interior, and factory polished 17" alloy
wheels. The paint is the original paint with no repairs, no rust,
or dents. Walking around it I couldn't even find any stone chips!
It has always been stored indoors and maintained with wax. The
pop-up headlights are in great working order.
INTERIOR: The interior is well cared for showing no stains or wear
on the light colored leather or carpet. It's literally like sitting
in a brand new car. It is all stock down to the Monsoon CD stereo
No holes cut for aftermarket stereo, gauges, switches, etc.
Everything in the interior works as it should. The power windows go
up and down with ease, power top latches effortlessly, all the
gauges, radio, power antenna, etc. work. Air conditioning blows ice
cold.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine bay looks as fresh as it did rolling
off the showroom floor. The white paint in the engine bay has no
signs of rust or deterioration. The bare nuts and bolts have no
corrosion. It has been steam cleaned of any dirt or debris. It is
also all stock under the hood, no aftermarket parts. Fluids have
been changed regularly. The Ram Air LS-1 engine was under rated at
325 HP and was actually closer to 350.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Opens by remote as well as interior release
button. Still looks new inside. The jambs are clean and weather
stripping is good. The T Tops lock in place in the bottom of the
trunk. On the driver side is the optional ($600) 12 disc CD
changer!
UNDERSIDE: The undercarriage is amazing; no rust or corrosion on
any of the body panels. It's clean and free of any heavy dirt or
debris. It has the factory markings and tags; even the exhaust and
mufflers are still the original factory GM and in like new
condition. The WS6 package gives you upgraded suspension, rear sway
bar and stiffer springs.
