Recently acquired from a repeat GR Auto Gallery client,a nuclear engineer by trade, this client's fastidious approach to care and maintenance of classic cars is clearly evident. This LeBaron is a Premium Model, and virtually every possible option available in 1988 is present on this car, as shown on the original (and included) factory window sticker. Highlights include factory leather powered sport seats, two-tone paint, sports handling package including larger 15" alloy wheels and 205-series tires, and of course the powerful 2.2 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. A three-owner car, this LeBaron has lived a pampered life, always stored in climate-controlled garages and driven sensibly with only 61k original miles. Included with the car is extensive documentation including all original books & manuals, as well as service receipts dating back to the 1990s. The last owner spared no expense ensuring that the car is in top-running shape, and part of that commitment was an engine and turbo rebuild down to the block. This work, along with a timing belt service, engine oil and transmission fluid change service, alignment, and alternator/belt service, are documented in a recent bill totaling over $4000, performed by a turbo Mopar expert Technician at a Chrysler dealership using OEM components. One additional note is that the turbo oil supply lines were replaced with braided stainless lines and fittings for long-lasting reliability.
