Gateway Classic Cars is delighted to offer this Elegant 1958
Packard 58L in our Ft Lauderdale Showroom. T. James Packard,
together with his brother William Packard and George Lewis Wiess (a
stockholder in the Winton company), built a factory in Warren, Ohio
and produced the first Packard on November 6, 1899. Between 1899
and 1903, the factory produced 400 automobiles. The first Packards
were powered with a single-cylinder engine and featured a steering
wheel (many cars at this time used steering rudders instead of
wheels). The slogan 'Ask The Man Who Owns One' is one of the most
famous in American History. It was the response given to most
individuals when asked about a Packard. They were reliable,
elegant, powerful, and quality automobiles. Their attention to
detail and ingenuity were some of the key factors in making the
company successful. This Stunning 1958 Packard 58L in our Showroom
is a complete "Ground-up" Restoration by " Classic Car Works". The
exterior is finished in a classy "Black" Base Coat/Clear Coat Paint
which pairs beautifully, with the combination Black, White, and
Gray interior. The ride is plush, yet responsive, with just the
right amount of road feel, making it an absolute pleasure to drive.
Powering this vintage exotic, is a Rebuilt 289 CID (4.7 Liter) V8
Engine paired with a 3-speed Flight-O-Matic Automatic Transmission.
Other options include, but are not limited to: Power Steering,
Power Brakes, Am/Fm Radio, Spare Tire, Hub Caps, and Wide White
