For Sale: 1953 Ford Truck in Lithia Springs, Georgia
This 1953 Ford Cabover C-600 has the kind of tall and imposing
style that commands attention. And with a well-built small block
V8, cool patina, a more comfortable interior, and all that lumber
on the flatbed, this has the right mix of nostalgia and runabout
that will have you thinking about what you can do with all this
commercial-grade appeal.
This cabover has the classic look of the F-Series you love. In
fact, the second-gen truck's big fenders seem even larger and the
hood is absolutely taller. So it amplifies the best fundamentals of
the design. Cab running lights, air horns on the roof, and side
grab handles to help you into the tall cab are all part of the
industrial-grade details. Everything fits together well with just
the right looks of use. And patina vehicles are awesome because
they celebrate the look of real classics that look like they have
survived decades of working hard. So it only gets cooler on a COE
(cab over engine) truck. After all, these were built to go to work,
and so its aged-in style is even more earned. And one of the places
this one still looks job-ready is the flatbed. We love the style of
the wood that looks like it was taken from an old shop floor and
then sealed for work duty. And the steel parameter has the fittings
if you want to create a stake-side bed. So you can have this ready
for everything from carrying your motorcycle to showcasing business
products. There's even a proper trailer hitch on the rear.
The interior was updated to add comfort while remaining
working-class. For example, the set of bucket seats is nicer than
anything that this C-600 had originally because they give you good
bolstering, adjustment, and a fold-down armrest. But it's more
about being comfortable than fancy. There's also an upgraded
shifter, a diamond plate style floor, and SunPro readouts under the
dash. And the AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input and remote makes for a
real cruiser. The steel door panels, patina dash, and large
dual-spoke steering are all still there to remind you that this is
a 1950s machine.
Under the hood is where this one fully deviates from the past.
You're going to love the extra power that comes from a fresher 350
cubic-inch Goodwrench crate V8. It has all the right pieces like a
Holley four-barrel carburetor, an aluminum intake, and headers
feeding a custom dual exhaust. There's also a three-speed automatic
transmission, and so unlike a 1950s industrial machine, you don't
have to do the shifting. Power steering, power brakes, front discs,
and newer Goodyear tires turn this classic worker into a solid
in-town cruiser.
This 1953 Ford is a great updated classic that can be driven to
work or shows with plenty of pride. So if you're ready for
industrial-sized cool, call today!
