Rare, restored 1965 Chrysler 300L Coupe for sale. This loaded, California car is the last of the 300 letter series cars, built on November 19th, 1964. Out of the 2,285 ever produced only 245 300L's remain. This pampered, show-winning, three-time Chrysler 300 Club National winner car was owned by the same loyal club aficionado for over three decades. We listed this Chrysler for its previous owner in 2017 and are now re-listing for the current owner. Under 2k miles have been added and the car looks and performs the same today as it did then.
This special 300L is loaded with options including ice-cold air conditioning, 4-way power seat, and power window vents; power brakes, power windows, center console, AM Astrophonic Deluxe radio, power antenna, backup lights, fender turn light indicators, and front bucket seats with rear seat shroud. The interior is nothing short of amazing with beautiful upholstery, headliner, switches, and gauges.
This rust-free/accident-free car was masterfully restored in 1990. During restoration, every nut, bolt, and screw came off easily. The paint is Centauri enamel and was refinished in its original color, code WW1 Persian White. The body is laser straight, with beautiful panel alignments and glassy, smooth high-quality paint looks stunning. The chrome, glass, and stainless look excellent as well. The car looks amazing in the photos and even better in person.
The original 413ci, 360HP engine runs smoothly and quietly with plenty of power. It appears to have been rebuilt though the current owner was not provided documentation. There is no smoke, no rattles or knocks and it starts and runs beautifully. The exhaust, suspension, and braking are all in excellent order and the car shifts perfectly. It is meticulously maintained and always ready for any length of adventure you want to take it on.
