Vehicle Description
1966 Chevrolet C10 Stepside Short Box 1/2 Ton pickup brought to you
by Zoom Classic Cars. Beautiful example of a well cared for 66 PU.
Truck features a 350CI 4 Bolt Engine with Holly carb, headers and
mild cam mated to a 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive.
92,667 miles on this original Texas truck owned and meticulously
maintained since being purchased from an estate in 2018. Truck was
originally purchased new from Chase Chevrolet in Sherman TX on July
1, 1966 by the Washington Iron Works Company who are still in
business in Sherman. Beautiful bright red paint in overall
excellent condition over black vinyl interior. All the panels on
the truck line up very nicely and all the chrome and stainless trim
and badging is intact and in excellent condition. Power Tilt
Steering and power brakes with discs in front and drums in the
rear. POSI Traction 12 Bolt rear-end. Interior is very clean and
features black vinyl bench seating, color coded cab, aftermarket
Auto meter Tachometer, AM/FM radio connected to recessed antenna on
the outside and LED Clock. Some additional factory options include
armrests and built in visor. Oak bed with stainless bed strips in
excellent condition covered by like new black tonneau cover. Truck
has been lowered 2 inches all around. Undercarriage is very clean
and features dual exhaust, chrome rear-end cover and front sway
bar. All wheels have been converted to a 5 bolt pattern and the
truck rides on newer radial tires mounted on Classic Cragar SS
rims. Truck runs and drives very well and sounds great. Tastefully
pin-striped. Only issues are minor streaking on windshield from the
wiper blades and some bubbling of paint on the top edges of the bed
beneath the Tonneau cover as shown - barely noticeable. Stored in
MA with clean title and comes with original owner's manual and
protecto-plate as shown. This is a turn key Chevy Truck that runs
100% and is ready to enjoy. Call Jeff for more information or to
schedule an appointment to see this great Chevy PU. Thanks for
looking.
