Truly Spectacular 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop Coupe
The next amazing classic up for grabs in our Fairfield showroom is
this gorgeous 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop 2 Door Coupe with
flawless green and white exterior paint, outstanding chrome and
trim, plus a tremendous beige leather interior with Alcantara suede
headliner and Dakota digital gauges. This outstanding, show quality
example is equipped with a 5.7L Corvette LT1 V-8 engine with a
4L60E automatic overdrive transmission, a Corvette limited slip
differential with an independent rear suspension, four wheel power
disc brakes, power steering, air conditioning, a remote CD changer
with premium speakers, 17" Chrome Corvette Z06 wheels, and so much
more.
This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop has been restored to "better
than new" condition throughout and is easily the most impressive,
immaculate example we've ever seen.
Multi-Year Restoration by Best of the Best Craftsmen
The current owner of this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop Coupe's
Husband acquired it back in 1997 and insisted on only the best
throughout the restoration. This build started with a full Paul
Newman chassis from notable Newman Car Creations, which are no
longer produced since Paul has retired. All body and paint work was
completed by Johnny Cisneros, including a full restoration of all
polished chrome and trim work to better than new condition. The
interior and outstanding upholstery was completed by the well-known
hot rod upholster Sid 'the Stitch Man" Chavers, with features such
as glove soft leather, a custom Alcantara headliner, plus custom
padding on the dash and door panels.
The powertrain for this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop was donated
from a C4 Corvette with less than 40,000 miles on it and you'll
find new accessories, power management, braking, and suspension
throughout. Every aspect of performance on the open road is
outstanding, and this classic drives like a much more modern muscle
car without losing its undeniable classic appeal. As we mentioned
earlier, no expense was spared in this iconic build and this
example may not have a rival anywhere on the open market.
Additionally, this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop 2 Door Coupe has
been maintained at the highest possible levels since the
restoration effort and shows no discernible signs of imperfection.
While we would never refer to any classic as "perfect", that's what
comes to mind when you view this classic hardtop in person. The
exterior body, paint and chrome are exceptional while the completed
interior is among the nicest we've ever seen.
Easily the Most Outstanding Example We've Seen
Overall, this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop Coupe is the nicest
example we have ever seen in person and it would be a show winner
on virtually any stage in the nation. With excellent build quality
and countless manhours involved with this restoration, you may
never see another example of this caliber on the open market again.
