Vehicle Description
When you're looking for a modern car that's also a guaranteed
collectible, it's going to be hard to beat this 2020 Dodge
Challenger R/T Scat Pack 50th Anniversary Limited Edition. It's 1
of only 70...yes! It's a modern car that is rarer than some of the
best classic Mopars from the muscle car heyday. And with so few
miles on this one-owner coupe, it has a factory fresh feeling
everywhere from the bold Go Mango paint to the big Hemi V8 under
the hood.
The retro-cool looks of the Challenger mean a bit more here. It's
the 50th-anniversary Limited Edition, and so we love how this
reminds us of the original that debuted in 1970. And this one seems
to know how to evoke those feelings properly. It was ordered in Go
Mango, which was one of Mopar's famous High Impact paints that was
available in 1970. There are so few miles on this one-owner car,
that the finish remains sleek, fresh, and vibrant. Heck, even the
chin spoiler still has delivery protectors. This anniversary car
celebrated the best of the sporty Challenger R/Ts with the blackout
hood, backout rear deck, and the ionic shaker coming through the
hood to grab some fresh air. There's a touch of gold in the special
Challenger 50 badging, and it goes well with the 20-inch wheels.
They are unique alloys called "Gold School", and they look like
what it would be like if the classic Mopar Road Wheel grew up to be
a modern unit that could hold Pirelli P-Zeros. And if you were not
paying attention when the Challenger had its 50th anniversary in
2020, it's important to note this is the Limited Edition car. Dodge
only allowed the GT and R/T variations to have 70 examples each (a
nod to the Challenger's debut in 1970.) So the Challenger R/T Scat
Pack is quite desirable in this already awesome hierarchy. Dodge
did offer a Commemorative Edition later in 2020, but those were not
limited in number at all. So the general public may get confused
between the two, but every Mopar fan today and collector in the
future knows exactly just how extraordinary this coupe is.
The interior is just as well preserved as the exterior. That's
important because they gave you special edition features like the
retro stitching in the seats, 50th-anniversary logos, and
retro-cool white-faced gauges. And we love the level of details
where the golden contrast stitching on the seats is repeated on the
doors, dash, and leather-wrapped steering wheel. There's even a
plaque on the passenger side identifying this as #3 of 70. This is
also special for the level of loaded features. It includes a power
sunroof, dual-zone automatic A/C climate control, heated &
ventilated front seats, power windows, power locks, keyless
entry/ignition, cruise control, power steering, dual front airbags,
side airbags, and anti-lock brakes. The factory touchscreen
infotainment runs the premium Harman Kardon AM/FM/XM stereo,
navigation system, backup camera, and Bluetooth. The power driver's
seat adjusts to your ideal position, and the sports steering wheel
has all your essential buttons (including paddle shifters.) It
gives you a clear view of the large speedo, large tach, and full
digital info center.
The R/T Scat Pack is a special kind of car. It's the most powerful
naturally aspirated Challenger on the streets. The 6.4-liter Hemi
V8 produces a serious street-eating 485 horsepower. So while this
one looks like it has never turned its wheels in anger, you know
it's ready to live up to the power Hemi fame. The way to really
view this coupe is as a modern muscle machine. That means big power
but an everyday kind of livability. The eight-speed automatic
transmission with paddle shifters is a terrific balance of stout
construction for power shifting and an easy overdrive cruiser.
Plus, the fully-independent suspension and Brembo four-wheel power
disc brakes are about delivering a confident driving feeling even
if you're just driving to cars & coffee.
This Challenger 50th Anniversary Limited Edition was a classic from
day one, and this one has been treated with that level of respect
all its life. The sale even comes with the original windows
sticker, brochures, and other paperwork. This is your rare
opportunity at collector-grade modern Mopar royalty. Don't miss
