1932 Ford Victoria Retro-Rod 327 V8 700R4 Corvette IRS
Incredible Retro-Rod Preservation! This sweet "Victoria" was originally built in 1984 by Mr. Don Baxter of Lawrence, Kansas. Don was a speed shop owner, drag racer, 32 Ford enthusiast and later owner of Baxter Ford parts. This is one of several 1932 Ford's they built, as well as other early Fords. When the purchaser passed away unexpectedly, a friend 3rd owner/caretaker stored the car indoors & it was rarely driven.
Purchased by the current owner in June of 2017, it's history was fully researched including many details & historic photos that were provided by Mr. Baxter's son. As the new owner, his goal was to fully sort the car out mechanically while retaining the original external appearance, as Mr. Baxter built it. After several years of tasteful preservation & enjoyment, I would say "Mission Accomplished" & now it's your turn! Will you be the next caretaker?
