The 911 Targa from the late sixties is undeniably one of the most popular classic Porsches, especially the very rare Targa version. This eye-catching Porsche 911 short wheelbase Targa is in original Porsche color of "light yellow" with soft window. This historic sports car was meticulously restored in 2005.
TIMELESS ELEGANCE
Our short wheelbase Porsche was first sold and delivered in 1968 to a German customer. After some years, it found its way to the USA. During its time in America, the original 2 litre engine was replaced by an original Porsche 2.2 E engine (911/01) with 155 horsepower. This 911 Targa was painstakingly restored and was re-imported to Germany in 2006. The perfect interior is black leatherette and the seats have been freshly upholstered. Externally, this Targa sports the original Porsche Fox wheels with yellow painted details which enhances the 911's overall appearance.
The chrome on the windshield frames, the headlight surrounds as well as the bumper horns are in good condition. Also, the stainless-steel Targa bar is in very good condition.
FLAWLESS TECHNOLOGY
Technically, this very eye-catching Targa is in perfect condition and has been thoroughly checked and serviced by expert Porsche technicians. The 5-speed ZF manual transmission shifts smoothly and cleanly. The Targa roof and softwindow are also in good condition and open and close easily. There are absolutely no engine nor transmission leaks. It has been driven all of 22,720 miles since restoration.
