Vehicle Description
From the last model year for the full-size B-body models, this very
attractive 1968 Pontiac Grand Prix is now available from the
MaxMotive Pittsburgh Showroom. This is a true Wide Track Pontiac
with all the performance and luxury the name represents. A big 400
cubic inch V8 with 4-barrel carburetion generates a lusty 350
horsepower and a formidable 445 lb/ft of torque. This, combined
with a 3-speed Turbo Hydramatic offers brisk acceleration and
smooth performance. A dual exhaust system lets the engine breathe
and provides a nice tone. The air conditioning has been updated
with R134a refrigerant for minimum maintenance and maximum comfort.
The original exterior color, Solar Red, emphasizes the sporty side
of the GP, and there's a black vinyl top and fender skirts for a
little extra style. The '68 GP also has hideaway headlights. Power
steering and power brakes make driving easy. A fully operational
power antenna gets the signal to the factory radio. 78.6 inches of
width is indeed a Wide Track, and so it features a generous trunk
with carpeting plus the original jack. New Kumho radial tires
complement the ride and handling of the big Pontiac. We are proud
to offer one of the signature models in Pontiac history, a 400
four-barrel powered 1968 Pontiac Grand Prix. Be sure to see the
