Vehicle Description
The idea to merge icons like the Ford F-150 and Harley-Davidson
seems like the perfect pairing today, but back in 2000 it was
revolutionary. So finding an example from this rare first-year
series makes for a great truck to admire. Of course, now that this
has an added supercharger on the V8, you'll also love driving this
loaded modern classic.
This truck pairs well with Harley-Davidson. The sleek black paint
gives it attitude; the polished step rails are as straight as a
bike's front forks; and the stepside bed has the kind of curves
that you get on a chopper's gas tank. Ford gave these some terrific
custom style with the H-D orange pinstripe, billet grille, and
exclusive 20-inch alloys. And just like the best custom Harleys,
this has the right touches of individuality for a truly unique
ride. You have the upgraded exhaust tips, polished handles, and the
full hard tonneau cover not only allows for a carpeted bed but also
a well-integrated spoiler. Plus, the hood takes its inspiration
from the GT500KR to really let you know there's something mean
under there (more on that in a moment.)
The full special edition packaging continues inside. You've got
Harley-Davidson logos on the dash, center console, and exclusive
gauge package. Plus, there's a special set of sport leather seats
up front that have the H-D logo on the seatbacks. So even inside,
you are constantly reminded that this is a special edition pickup.
More than just a limited edition, these were also expensive and
loaded. You get a ton of great features, like power seats, power
windows, power locks, keyless entry & alarm, tilt column, an
AM/FM/cassette stereo, and cold-blowing air conditioning. And
because this is an extended cab pickup, with rear opening
half-door, you have the extra practicality of carrying everything
from extra friends to extra gear for your motorcycle.
Under the hood is the correct-style 5.4-liter fuel-injected V8. But
those who know these Fords instantly can tell there's something
special here. You have been upgraded with a supercharger, which is
a feature that would not be available from Ford until later years.
So this one gives you first-year exclusivity and the best power
from its generation. That sounds like a win-win. While this is a
powerful package, the odometer is believed to represent the full
mileage. So it also has the solid feeling of an easy cruiser. Power
steering, four-wheel disc brakes, cruise control, and a four-speed
automatic transmission with overdrive make the miles effortless
near or far.
Complete with maintenance records, it's terrific to find a
Harley-Davidson truck from its inaugural year. And this one has
extra power and such a nice price. So don't let this opportunity
slip away, call today!
