For Sale: 1989 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson in Lavergne, Tennessee
This 1989 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat 4x4 comes loaded with everything
you want from an A/C interior to an overdrive transmission. And it
has the fuel-injected V8 power and all the right work-ready
features to keep this pickup being a useful classic.
The XLT Lariat package means you're getting a premium pickup. The
deep red paint and full-length white pinstripes even highlight that
feeling. But the real appeal here is how you get a classic truck
with a true work-ready attitude. There's a full plastic bed liner,
wide towing mirrors, a rear step bumper with tow ball, and a
locking diamond plate toolbox. This is lifted 4x4, and it has a
terrific set of tall BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/As. So the stance
helps to highlight the authoritative lines of this generation
F-150. And the dark details of the grille, badging, and tailgate
add to the intimidation factor.
The interior is where you can really appreciate the premium side of
the XLT Lariat trim. This is loaded with features you don't get on
many other classics, like power windows, power locks, and an
upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth. The side vent windows and
sliding rear glass do a nice job of moving air through the car, and
when that's not enough, you also have cold-blowing air
conditioning. If you want to get extra fancy, it's not difficult to
get new cloth covers for the seat. But you'll already appreciate
the good contouring and fold-down armrest. It makes this one
long-haul comfortable. So do features like the tilt steering
column, full gauges, and cruise control.
Ford's fuel-injected 5.0-liter V8 is a terrific motor. It's a
terrific fuel-injected heart for when you want to get the job done.
It shows good maintenance including newer items like the master
cylinder, alternator, tensioner pulley, hoses, and belts. So while
it's unknown if the odometer represents the full mileage, this one
runs with the strong nature you want in a well-respected pickup.
The two-speed 4x4 transfer case and updated suspension components
give this go-anywhere ability. The four-speed automatic
transmission with overdrive means this one is great for the highway
miles, too. This anytime usability is heightened further by good
driving features like power steering, power brakes, and front
discs.
This is the perfect mix of rugged and comfortable. It's the cool
classic that still knows how to earn its keep. So you already know
you're going to have to act fast to take this one home. Call
