For Sale: 1979 Pontiac Grand Prix in Concord, North Carolina
This 1979 Pontiac Grand Prix LJ (Luxury-J) is an all-original
example of a very popular Pontiac model. The owner states that the
mileage shown (32,000) is actual. The Gran Prix is powered by the
GM 301ci V8 w/2 barrel intake that outputs 135hp. The engine is
said to be matching numbers and to have never required a rebuild.
It is backed by a 3-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic. The Grand
Prix's body is straight and rust-free. The Pastel Blue finish is
original except for one section of the hood that appears to have
been repainted at some point in the past. Steel wheels mount nice
14" whitewall radials and are accented with factory wire-wheel
covers. The plush original interior is in overall good condition
showing only minor age wear. Door panels, carpet and headliner are
nice. The Grand Prix features a power driver seat, tilt sport
wheel, cold air conditioning, AM/FM sound system, full factory
gauge package and power tinted windows. The chassis is fitted with
power steering and power disc/drum brakes. This 4th generation
Grand Prix is ready for a cruise to the mountains or to drive every
day. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
