Vehicle Description
ORIGINAL 1969 AMC AMX GO-PAK WITH ORIGINAL GROUP 19 EQUIPMENT THIS
CAR HAS NOT BEEN RESTORED ABSOLUTELY NO APOLOGIES OR
DISAPPOINTMENTS I certainly do not profess to be an AMC guru but I
was employed at the local AMC/JEEP dealership right out of high
school as a parts counterman and later as an asst. service manager
from 1969 thru 1980. The early years were a great experience for me
as a young gearhead eager to learn and being a part of the true
'muscle car' era even though it started to end after the 1970
production run. This is where and when I learned all about the AMC
group 19 section of the parts catalog. This is my 4th first gen
AMX. This is my beautiful Bittersweet Orange AMX from my
collection. Only 2 previous owners. It has 64,744 actual miles.
Truly one of the nicest, well preserved, not only very well but
rarely optioned, absolutely no rust, original cars in existence.
Sold new in Washington state to the original owner then moved to
Southern California by the second owner and finally to me in
Southwest Mo. This car retains all of its original warranty
documents including the original booklet with the warranty card. I
have a giant folder that contains many if not all records and
receipts from new. I also have the original factory/dealer copy of
the original window sticker/bill of lading (see pics). Notice also
the old California blue plate license. All numbers matching and
excellent throughout. Factory equipped with 390, 4 speed, 3:91
posi, power steering, power disc brakes, factory Go-Pak car with
originally installed selling dealer Group 19 options and notice the
very rare 'Rally Pack' center dash gauges. Car starts, runs, and
drives perfectly. All gauge's, light's, and signaling device's work
like new including the horn, interior, and dash lights as well as
all exterior lights. The heater, defrost, and fan work perfectly.
The radio works like new and sounds great. The windshield wipers'
as well as the washers work
