1977 C10 Custom Deluxe short bed runs and drives well with original 350 SBC and SM465 transmission.
This truck is from the south originally, where it was purchased new by the original owner and kept until his passing around five years ago. I bought the truck and shipped it; always garaged, never in snow. Paint is in good condition (there are chips, a few small dents, and imperfections), drivetrain is great. The AM radio, lights, horn, heat, and gauges all work. No rattles or squeaks, and with the new tires put on last year the truck rides and handles well. Clutch does not slip and shifter goes into gear without issue. Dual exhaust sounds good - not excessively loud but distinct. Bed has fitted rubber mat. Added the seat cover to protect it - have included a picture to show what it looked like pre-cover - but seat is still in great condition as the rest of the interior is. Wing windows both open and lock, and to my knowledge everything works on the vehicle.
Overall this truck has been wonderful - it represents the late 70's square bodies well. Color and overall look attracts attention, and is perfect to take to casual shows and cruise around town. This is a great truck to be able to get in and drive and enjoy while still being able to tinker with over time. Comes with original manual, and a number of documents ranging from original purchase slips to part receipts. In the past 5 years it has had fuel filter, air filter, oil + filter, and coolant regularly changed. In the past year also a new distributor and choke temp sensor.
