In 1939, the Dodge pickup series were completely redesigned, with a
focus on safety, capability, and innovation. Cabs were redesigned
with dashboards that don't impale passengers, frames were beefed up
and some of the first diesel engines and 4WD systems were
implemented. The truck was an instant success and served as the
backbone for the wartime light truck effort.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this extremely impressive
1947 pickup for your consideration. Finished in a deep red paint,
contrasting black fenders, The truck has an original yet classy
look. This vehicle underwent a restoration from a body shop in
Hastings Michigan back in 2008. A new fuel tank was also fitted
around the same time as the restoration. And has only been driven
between 200-500 miles since then. Along with the body of the truck,
in 2016 a new 350D transmission was rebuilt and stuck under the
pickup.
Gr Auto Gallery, LLC and our sister company, Wheelz Sales and
Leasing Inc. makes every effort to represent each vehicle
accurately and with integrity. We also welcome third party
