Vehicle Description
The awesome patina look gives this 1970 Chevrolet C10 the first
impression of a well-earned workhorse. But as you see the big gloss
and straight panels, you can also see there's more going on here.
With upgraded small block power, an overdrive transmission, fresh
suspension components, and a comfortable interior, it makes for an
honest kind of style that also has a confident cruiser lurking
within.
A patina truck rolling down the road looks like it was well-earned
over a life of getting the job done. It's coming through the green
with white two-tone. It's close to what the body tag tells us is
correct for this truck, and so we like how this truck wears its
history with pride. It even tells you it was born a long bed model
with the welds still visible in the back. But while there's an
industrial level of cool, there's also a car show level of shine.
It comes from the smooth clearcoat that is applied over the paint
and bright chrome bumpers. Tight body lines, clean headlights, and
good rubber are all part of this truck's larger story of a
workhorse style with the right added flair.
The interior has a clean, simple, and vintage look. We love the
details like the premium Cheyenne western-style pattern in the door
panels and the working dome light. Plus, the bench seat has a fresh
look and feel, but it has the attractive classic houndstooth
pattern done in green. You have the right touches of patina inside
to keep the cool/classic vibe going, but you also know this one
wants to be driven. Upgrades like the AM/FM/cassette stereo and
B&M floor shifter make it more fun.
Powering this truck is a 350 cubic-inch V8. We're told it's freshly
rebuilt and it certainly looks the part with its tidy style. The
bold orange block, black Chevy air grabber, matching valve covers,
and clean wires are part of a proper investment to give you a
confident driver (a theme you'll see throughout the powertrain.)
You have performance upgrades like a four-barrel carburetor, an
Edelbrock EPS intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. There
are also newer supporting components, like the aluminum radiator,
heater core, and battery. This was built to be a true cruiser, and
so you have been upgraded to a 700R4 four-speed automatic
transmission with highway-friendly overdrive. There's also power
steering and new BF Goodrich T/As. The investments also include
newer suspension components like coils, shocks, and control arms to
deliver a classic you can drive with confidence.
This is the well-done patina package that gives you a cool classic
with everyday appeal. Don't let this deal slip away, call
