There were many changes made for the 1985 Corvette models. That
year was a significant milestone in Corvette history. The most
significant change from the previous year was the uncomfortable
ride. Chevrolet solved this by using a softer rear spring and
softening the spring rates. Gone and never coming back, was the
Cross-fire Injection System that was now replaced with the new
Tuned- Port injection system built by Bosch. This new fuel delivery
system featured a revised intake manifold and provided an
individual fuel injector for each cylinder. The new L98
now had horsepower that was increased from 205 HP to 230HP with no
fuel economy penalty. Car and Driver magazine announced that the
1985 Corvette was Americas fastest production car with a top speed
of 150 MPH. In racing, Corvette won all six SCCA Showroom Stock
endurance races, and it also won the series championship. The total
production for the 1985 model year was 39,729.This Corvette coupe
is a 2-owner car that has been very well cared for. The sleek,
white exterior paint is excellent with no visible flaws. There is
no past or recent body damage. Only 7,780 Corvette models
were built with white paint in 1985.Look inside, and you will see
the pretty blue leather bucket seat consoled interior. It is in
very good condition. Only 2,121 models were built with blue leather
interiors. All interior components are in excellent condition. The
combination of white and blue makes a nice contrast and is very
desirable. Engine is the factory 350 CID/230 HP with
