This 1948 Chevrolet Stylemaster 5 Passenger Coupe is a great
example of a time capsule. It is finished in dark red with its
original beige cloth interior. This Chevy is a great running and
driving, original survivor car that has been in the same family
since new. The odometer shows 18,000 and with the condition and
records, we believe it to be accurate. It received one repaint in
the mid-1970s to closely match the original color, but everything
else has left the same. The paint is driver quality but has a good
luster to it. The chrome and brightwork are in great shape. Under
the hood is a 216.6 CID inline 6-cylinder engine that is paired
with a 3-speed manual transmission. All the original stickers and
tags in the engine bay are visible and look good. The floors,
rockers, and frame rails are solid. Inside is a comfortable,
spacious interior with front and rear bench seats. The door cards,
carpeting, and headliner are in great shape as well. The dash is
all original with working gauges except the fuel guage. Its also
equipped with dealer-installed fog lights and an AM radio that was
never installed. It will be hard to find another survivor in this
great of shape as this one. This Chevrolet is ready for a new owner
and new adventures on the road. Give us a call at 763-434-6565 /
