The TRX puts the Ford Raptor to shame, and it is not shy in doing
so. This monstrosity features a 6.2L Hemi equipped with a 2.4L
supercharger which together put out over 700 horsepower. You read
that correctly: over 700 horsepower from the factory. How does the
Ram control all that power? It starts and ends with a specially
designed suspension featuring the newest technology in shocks, the
Bilstein Blackhawk e2 three-piston electronic reservoir system. The
travel and articulation are simply unrivaled in any stock
production pickup.
When you fire it up, the growl is impressive but the monster really
roars as you get into the throttle. Forget the economy tech, this
truck was made for performance. You will not find automatic
start/stop or even dynamic cylinder shutoffs - this truck stays
locked in amp; ready to go. There are a couple of Easter-egg gags
taking a shot at Ford's Raptor too; it's nice to see a sense of
humor peak through the macho personality of this beast! You have to
see it in all of it's magnificence.
