Vehicle Description
The Ford Customline was a model by Ford that was built between 1952
and 1956. Body design stayed pretty similar with a few cosmetic
changes between trim models. However the biggest change that would
happen is that Ford would phase out the ever so desirable flathead
V8 after 1953. After a twenty year run, the famous V8 would be
replaced by an overhead valve V8 configuration. The Flathead would
become one of the most famous engines of the twentieth century and
still remains a favorite among hot rodders to this day. This
absolute cream puff of a car has had very special attention to
detail on all levels. The engine has had a engine out rebuild at
the cost of over $15,000 alone. The suspension and brakes have all
been gone through and the ride is fantastic. This thing is tight
and true when driving , the sea-foam green is really nice as is the
brightwork and trim. An electric fan has been added along with
updated stereo system, fog lights, gauges etc....This is isn't your
Grandpas Ford by any stretch. This car drives more like a modern
car than a 70 year old vehicle. A electric fan has been added to
the radiator for better cooling. I would say it would be hard to
find another car like this for this price. Yes, there are nicer
ones....for more money and there are cheaper ones.....that are not
as nice, but I really truly believe this is one hell of a car for
the money.
