For Sale: 1973 Chevrolet Nova in Lithia Springs, Georgia

Vehicle Description

1973 was a great year to get a Chevrolet Nova. It had a more distinctive style, and this example has a nice cruiser attitude that has some updates without losing the vintage feeling. And so this makes for a proper Chevy V8 classic.

The 1973 cars debuted an updated look with even more square-jawed front end. So while Novas were always known for delivering substantial-looking style to the compact car segment, this refresh turned it up a notch. In fact, this example loves to show off the well-creased lines with the upgraded paint. The nice metallic element really pops in the sunlight, but there is the right amount of earth tone to the orange to make it look right for a 1970s machine. So it feels thoughtfully upgraded, and that's not the only place. The headlights are half-chrome pieces, the Nova badging are decals, and the wheels are fully polished pieces that still keep the classic Rally style. So they upgraded for a smoother and brighter style while still looking quite stock and vintage.

The interior is pure classic cruiser cool. The cloth inserts in the upholstery have a great vintage texture, and those two wide rows of bench seats will have you looking for the nearest drive-in. Plus, the smooth dash pad, clean floor, and good headliner make this all inviting. This loves to keep the full vintage style with working details like the dome light, gauge lights, and horn. This is even a factory air conditioning car, but it will need servicing and/or upgraded to blow cold again. And because this classic also likes to be a cruiser, the upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo provides better driving music.

Under the hood is a 307 cubic-inch V8. This is an era-correct block that has a clean and correct style. The small block warms up to be a hardy driver, and the glasspack-style dual exhaust has a nice tune. Part of why this feels like a proper cruiser is because of the right easy driving features like the smooth-shifting three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and BF Goodrich raised white letter tires.

This is the well-priced true classic with just the right touches of upgraded style. So if you love a cool Nova, call today!
