1967 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 396 138 VIN This 1967 Chevelle SS 396 is
a true West Coast car and it shows. Original body panels with one
repaint back to its factory color, code F, Marina Blue. The body is
straight down both sides and the fit and finish is excellent. The
paint has been color sanded and polished very smooth and to a high
gloss finish. Doors shut nice and the door jambs are nicely
painted. All of the chrome, emblems and trim are exceptional. The
chrome on the vent windows, door handles and mirrors are in good
shape as well. All the glass is in great condition. It rides on a
set of 15x8 Chevy Rally wheels with new trim rings and correct flat
center caps, wrapped with 225/60/15 tires up front and 295/50/15
tires on the rear for an aggressive look!! The interior looks to be
all new. The bucket seats have new cushions and upholstery. A
factory style blinker tach has been added. The factory steering
wheel is in great shape. All the knobs and trim around the dash
have been replaced and it still retains the factory AM radio. Dash
pad, headliner, carpet and sill plates are mint. The rearview
mirror is clear. All the door panels, window cranks and armrests
are excellent. It also has front Deluxe seat belts. The engine bay
is detailed and finished in a satin black finish. The
period-correct 396 has a few performance upgrades: HEI ignition,
Edelbrock aluminum intake with a dual feed Holley carburetor, power
brakes with dual master cylinder and power steering. It has a
Harrison 4-core radiator with correct fan shroud and factory
exhaust manifolds. The windshield squirters are hooked up. This
engine is dressed up with factory chrome valve covers, air cleaner
and hood insulation. Everything is tastefully done! The
undercarriage is rock solid! Rust free metal. Front end components
look good and tight. It has new shocks and springs and power front
disc brakes. The bottom of the motor is clean as well as the Muncie
M21 4-speed transmission. This Chevelle also has a 12 bolt 3:73
rear end, 2.5" dual exhaust with FlowMaster mufflers, new gas tank
and straps. The emergency brake cables are complete and working!
The trunk is all clean metal with a coat of splatter paint, new
trunk weather stripping, spare tire and jack assembly. It also has
the jacking instructions decal on the bottom of the trunk lid. This
is a clean West Coast car with very desirable options: a 396
engine, 4-speed trans, PS, PFDB and even better it's Marina Blue!!
